Established in 2014, Alpha Alterations caters for all tailoring needs by providing specialized services in all types of clothing alterations and dress making. Our goal is to ensure that every customer is given the opportunity to feel comfortable and confident just by acquiring that perfect look with every outfit. We can achieve this by using our expertise and skills to customize your clothing items to suit your shape, size and style.

I have been working as a tailor for over 40 years. During this time I have acquired excellent skills in both clothing alterations and dress making for all ages, shapes and sizes. I’ am able to provide these services for all types of clothing, including casual wear, formal suits and dresses, uniforms, costumes and children’s wear. I’ am proud to be able to combine my many years of experience with tailoring and customer service to create a business where different individuals can be guaranteed a perfect fit and the perfect look for every ensemble.

Alpha Alterations offers expert clothing alterations and custom-made dressmaking services. See below for a detailed list of our offerings.

	Shortening & lengthening of all types of garments This includes trousers, jeans, shirts, dresses, skirts, jackets, etc. A simple type of alteration such as this can do wonders to how it looks and fits to your shape and size.
	Take in/Let out For example, you may own a pair of trousers that fit you well around the hip area but need to be taken in or let out around the waist, that is no problem for us to fix!
	Evening Wear This includes brides maids dresses and formal gowns. We are able to alter all types of evening wear. We can alter these garments even if they contain bones, beads or lace. Perhaps you would like to remove straps or add straps to your dress. No job is too small or too big!
	Wedding Dresses We can do all types of alterations to your wedding dress, including take in/let out, shorten or removing/adding bones or lace, etc. We can even remodel your dress to your liking.
	Remodeling You will be amazed at what we can do to restore or remodel some of the old pieces of clothing that have been sitting in your wardrobe all those years! We can offer some great designs and ideas to try to bring the latest fashion to your old garments.
	Leather & Suede We can alter leather and suede garments, this may involve shortening, lengthening, re-sizing (lifting shoulders or taking in) or mending any garments using special glues that work specifically on these fabrics. Note: Invisible mending cannot be done on leather and Suede.
